"Flying Colours" is Chris de Burgh's ninth studio album, released by A&M Records in 1988. It went straight to number one in the UK on 15th October 1988 and is the only Chris de Burgh album to go to number one on the UK album chart.
The single "Missing You" taken from the album peaked at number 3 on the UK singles chart and at number 1 in Ireland in December 1988. The track "The Simple Truth (A Child Is Born)" was a bonus track on the CD release and was not included on the original vinyl or cassette versions of the album.
