We're a group of 9 German friends/fans, aged between 24 and 36, who have met through the Chris de Burgh mailing list. We already participated in the last two editions of the tribute CD, so we are happy to be on this 3rd edition too.
Our particular recording took place last year in an old barn of Katja's farm in Moers/Germany. Miles around there were only horses, dogs, cats and Katja's children listening to our singing and playing. It was great fun and we didn't do badly, considering that the lack of a real studio forced us to record the whole song in one take and we had never practised before.
We chose Where Peaceful Waters Flow, because it is such a classical sing-along at every concert. Dani is singing the first verse, Katja and Heike M. sing the 2nd verse, Ruth sings the last verse. The chorus is sung by everybody and in turn with Astrid (1st time) and Dani (2nd time). The guitars are played by Ruth and both Heikes. Astrid plays the flute, Marietta plays the keyboard and Jens is our rythm man! We were lucky to have Rüdiger again as the world's most patient sound engineer!
